At Al Manar Immigrant Welcome Center, a nonprofit organization serving the community, we provide affordable, compassionate assistance to help individuals understand and apply for Social Security–related benefits. Our goal is to make these essential federal programs more accessible and less stressful for those who need them most.

We assist community members with guidance and application support for the following Social Security programs:

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

SSDI provides monthly benefits to individuals who are unable to work due to a qualifying disability and who have a work history with sufficient Social Security credits.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

SSI offers financial assistance to individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled and have limited income and resources, regardless of work history.

Disability Application Support

We help clients gather required documentation, complete applications accurately, understand medical and non-medical requirements, and navigate follow-up requests from the Social Security Administration.

Appeals & Ongoing Support

For individuals whose applications have been denied, we provide guidance on next steps and help them understand the appeals process.
